"The New River Gorge National River, managed by the National Parks Service, is home to
the highly underated Endless Wall.  This moderate 2.4 mile walk begins in the forest of the
park before crossing Fern Creek and zig-zagging along a cliff edge overlooking the New River.

The rail is dotted with scenic overlooks including breathtaking overlook at Diamond Point.
From there, hikers can retrace their steps or continue to trail's end and hike another half mile along a road to the starting point."

FAYETTEVILLE, WEST VIRGINIA "What's Happening Around Town"

New kid in town. Fayetteville has a new unique gift shop that offers statement pieces, local handmade candles from reclaimed wine, liquor and kraft beer bottles that features a one of a kind reclaimed lid from fallen trees.

Bridgeview Candles, Accessories & Design located at 139 S. Court Street, in downtown Fayetteville offers gently used furniture, accessories and designer candles. Sharon, a realtor for over 30 years, is an Accredited Home Stager and is putting her real estate and home staging experience to work. The shop offers designer Bridgeview Candles, home décor, interior design, web design services and realty services.

One of the shop's highlights is their handmade Bridgeview Candles, soy candles in reclaimed high-end wine, liquor and kraft beer bottles. Adam Morton, makes these candles and are fashioned with  a wooden lid reclaimed from fallen trees. Adam said he first got the idea to create candles after seeing his mother (me) cut glass bottles for decorative purposes. He began teaching himself how to make candles and his business has grown to the point he quit his other job to pursuit the craft. Adam, after three years, is featured in over 99 boutique shops throughout seven states.

The shop is now open and we look forward to meeting you. Next time you find yourself in Fayetteville, please stop in, tell us you found us on the blog, and perhaps you will find something special to take back home with you. If you visit and just don't want to leave, my husband and I will be very happy to find your special "get away" home to come back to.
